What is a Public Insurance Adjuster?

A Public Insurance Adjuster is a licensed professional who works on behalf of the policyholder, not the insurance company. When a loss occurs, the insurance company may assign its own adjuster to evaluate the damage. A public adjuster represents the property owner and assists with documenting the loss, reviewing the policy, and presenting the claim.
